SOLVING GREAT CHALLENGES
-
Supporting the global transition to more diversified supplies of low carbon energy.
-
Reducing environmental toxic hazards & methane emissions from waste rice husk biomass.
-
Using advanced technology to simplify conversion of rice husks to energy + amorphous silica.
-
Creating local, sustainable sources of low cost, high value additives; creating a green drop in substitute to conventional heavy industrial processes.
UNIQUE TECHNOLOGY AND PARTNERSHIPS
GSG has negotiated a strategic partnership with a UK technology developer, with options to use proven patented technologies exclusively for rice husks, in selected geographies for up to ten years, with options to renew. The GSG technologies simplify conversion of rice husks to heat and silica ash, to enable efficient power generation and carefully controlled production and processing of high value amorphous silica ash. The GSG reactor technology has been widely used reliably in other industries for over 30 years. GSG has also developed a strong relationship with the Brazilian subsidiary of an international EPC contractor, to ensure capability to build the first plant and capacity to deliver the portfolio expansion rapidly. Strategic partnerships are also in place for SPE co-investment – partners are ready to invest and have experience in rice processing, power generation & distribution, and designing, building and operating rice husk power plants.
GSG is a renewable power generation & amorphous silica production company, founded in 2018 by experienced British and Brazilian venture developers. GSG provides significant cash returns and value multiples, with projects that have the scope to be rolled out globally with standardized 2.4MW scale units – wherever rice is produced, and waste husks are available as a source of fuel and silica. A portfolio of 50MW scale has been identified in South America, with global expansion to over 100MW, over BRL1 billion value (US$250 million+). The first pilot project in the prosperous and efficient South of Brazil is ready for investment.

LOW CARBON ENERGY FROM 100MW PORTFOLIO OF 2.4MW SAS PLANTS
The 2.4MW plant will use exclusive patented technology to produce ~5,000t/yr of Sustainable Amorphous Silica (SAS). GSG plans to replicate this standard 2.4 MW SAS plant in more than 20 locations to build a 100MW scale portfolio, where GSG will access multiple revenue streams from electricity, SAS markets and carbon credits.
