SAS APPLICATION: BREWING

Diatomaceous Earth is widely used in the filtration process of brewers of alcoholic beverages. The typical chemical composition of over-dried Diatomaceous Earth is 80-90% silica (the principal, active component in filtration), with 2-4% alumina (attributed mostly to clay minerals) and 0.5-2% iron oxide. GSG|SAS is a sustainable, lower cost alternative and includes >98% silica.
